For more than 70 years, Regional Pediatric Associates have been committed to providing the highest level of health care from newborn through adolescence for the children of Durham and the surrounding communities.  We provide a full range of health care services including well/sick care, immunizations, sports and school physicals, minor surgical procedures, full laboratory services and health education.

Regional Pediatrics is an independent, physician-owned pediatric group practice with 7 physicians.  The leadership of Regional Pediatric Associates consists entirely of the physicians and is not directed by hospital, insurance company or business executives.  We feel it is this type of leadership that allows us to connect and focus on the medical needs of our patients.  Regional Pediatrics continues to grow and thrive thanks to the support of our loyal patients and many new families who continue to place their confidence in us.

Our history

One of the first pediatric practices in Durham, Regional Pediatric Associates was founded in the 1930's by Dr. Angus McBryde, who was one of the original pediatricians at Duke.  He was later joined by Dr. Bailey Webb, and in 1964, Clarence Bailey joined the practice.  At that time, the practice was located on Chapel Hill Street.  When the practice moved to Hillandale Road in the early 1970's, it became Hillandale Pediatrics.  After many years and much growth on Hillandale Road the practice moved in 1994 to its current location in Independence Park off of Roxboro Road and was renamed Regional Pediatric Associates.  We are now taking care of our fourth generation of families!
